Frequent disruption in connectivity even with steady ADSL

Is anybody facing problem with terrible upload speeds. For the last two weeks, my upload speed is nearly nil. I am on the Unlimited 1700 plan where I should get 512kbps upload speed. But the upload keeps on breaking and it is mostly 20 kbps or even less (2-4 KBps at the most) .. it takes nearly 15-20 mins to just upload a 2 MB file and it is creating a massive headache whenever I need to upload anything. Anybody else facing the uploading issue?My downloading etc. is working fairly well but the main problem is with uploading only. It is nearly impossible to upload even a few MB size of files now. FFS I cannot even upload an animated image etc. leave apart anything else. :disturbed:
 
Issue seems to be resolved , getting better and faster internet . pages load much faster .

Traceroute seems to route through new server , rather than via london .



running ping to google via "Ping for Life" portable software , and except for 2 failures out of 2.5K + pings everything seems normal and ping time is also less.

Wish it is indeed resolved.

I think it's far from being resolved. I did a traceroute to facebook.com and it failed half way as usual.I also sent around 200 requests to FB from Ping for Life and 100% of those failedI had to restart my modem and now it seems to be working OK...not good...just OKOh and I did change the modulation from G.dmt to Multi - just to see if that helps

i called my local bsnl technician and dont whether he reported to higher up or it automatically resolved , point is you should call your local bsnl tech guy.also check the line for interference . i am using norton dns , try it.
