revenue stamps should also be available around courts where there are shops dedicated to preparing legal documents for you.

Court documents require Judicial and Non-judical stamps, not Revenue stamps.

The situation seems to differ from place to place. In Delhi, I was able to buy them at local post offices. But here in Gurgaon, post offices don't keep them. Had to get them from the court.

yaha bc post office, post office wale kaam nahi karte dhang se. the nearest post office to my place is only operational between 10am and 1pm. and is also used heavily by old ladies for their pensions so if your timing is wrong, you would very likely not get your work done. post office experience is why i stopped filing RTIs. every single visit to post office is painful.

Any idea what is the price for one 100 paisa revenue stamp ?

On Amazon they are selling 40 Stamps for ₹ 120.00. Is this the right price?

i am confused. wouldn't a 100 paisa stamp cost rs. 1? or post offices charge commission on it like they do for postal order?

I buy ₹1 revenue stamps every year from Post Office for house rent receipts . They don't charge anything extra. I usually get ₹10 worth or stamps (10 x ₹1 stamps).

I've never seen a 100 paise revenue stamp. ₹1 stamp should work since it is worth 100 paise.
