Frustrated with Frequent Disconnections despite repeated complaints

Update : They checked my line from exchange and said it was fine from their side.
I think the MTNL wiring could have got damaged recently.
So i'm going to get new CAT5E cable installed soon from poll to my house.
That will probably fix it.

I havent been able to change the cable yet and my line stats are still awful.
My internet disconnects frequently and i cant play games online.

My net was working fine for one whole week , and then disonnections every ten minutes !
Cant play either !

MTNL guys do nothing !

Do u get good pings on ADSL2+ ? Coz i get 130 ping !

Dude your line is very very bad...u have so many CRC errors , i saw errors for the first time on my line today ! that too only 2-3...

I changed the ADSL splitter and stats got better but still my net sucks.Btw I cant find my thread anywhere

U guys SNR is too low....... need atleast above 10db...... plus line attenuation too high for stable 2Mbps.......
Anyways tell the linesman to fix the line first...... u need stats closer to these values below::

SNR should be more than 10 for stable connection ... and line atten. should be as low as possible .. tell lineman to remove any carbon from joint and ensure there are no cuts in wire ...

The mtnl guy changed the cable running from splitter to router and the another small telephone line box [not the adsl splitter].I was getting good values but after few hours they are back to shitty like they were before.I am calling him again tomorrow.Getting the whole cable running from outside to inside replaced.

^^ you are from?!in another thread, a member has reported that post a line-change procedure, he has got much better line-stats, but the DC-issue still persists!
