man how can i get that white looking box, currently the rj11 wire is being twisted with the black telehone wire.

@ghost (who walks) That white box is the wall mounted junction box available in any electrical shop but in Mumbai the linesman changes it for free, so it should be the same in your city.

Thanks for the reply but from inception they just twisted the black wire with one end of rj11 and taped it and its not me alone but most of the people i know don't have this box.

Write to the gm/dgm (broadband) in your city with the photo attached in your mail. I suggest you also send them a link of this thread, so they get embarrassed (if such a thing is possible) with their quality of work they do.
