I want to buy a Fully Automatic Washing Machine and a Dishwasher.
I have a family of 5. So would 8 Kg fully automatic front load washing machine be fine?
Front load or Top load?
I don't have much knowledge about these appliances. The machines should do most of the work and there should be minimum human effort.
Please provide your suggestions.
I don't have a budget but don't wanna overspend.
Would appreciate value for money model recommendations.

Okay then. 😅
So is there any way of disabling Wifi then pressing for 3 seconds on Wifi button only seems to enable it?
Also I've read that liquid based detergents are more efficient and economical than powder based ones?

wifi is disabled by default. you cannot issue any command from the app unless you enable remote control from the machine which you have to do every single time. which i assume also resets if there is a power cut (i am not sure about this). wifi would connect as soon as the machine would connect. and it would send signal to the app when wash cycle is over. it does nothing else on its own from my understanding.

i do prefer liquid over powder because powder leaves residue in the detergent container. not sure if it is because of lack of water pressure or the large container size. i didn't have this problem on the old ifb. you can of course directly put powder in the tub as well to avoid that.

LG recommends powder in manual for my model.

Mine stays connected to wifi all the time and I'm also able to turn off the machine without Remote Start but can't start a wash cycle without it.
I read the manual. It wasn't of much help. 😅

machine does turn itself off if no command is given for a few minutes iirc. wifi connects as soon as the machine starts. i do not remember if i can remotely turn off the machine. i guess i can. never really thought about it as auto shutdown takes care of it after wash cycle is over or it is turned on without starting a cycle.

IFB or LG washing machine depending on your location for services.
IFB dishwasher is just perfect ( using for 8 years )

Bosch service is not good in India. They didn’t change my front washing machine door seal which had a manufacturing defect after a week of purchase. Stupid engineers said that may be your Jeans pants zip damaged the silicone seal 😁🤣and also said it is not included in the warranty. You can purchase it for Rs 6000 only

What mode or presets do you guys use for washing your woolens?
I tried Delicate and Gentle Care but they're just okayish.
