I want to buy a Fully Automatic Washing Machine and a Dishwasher.
I have a family of 5. So would 8 Kg fully automatic front load washing machine be fine?
Front load or Top load?
I don't have much knowledge about these appliances. The machines should do most of the work and there should be minimum human effort.
Please provide your suggestions.
I don't have a budget but don't wanna overspend.
Would appreciate value for money model recommendations.

I have seen it on LG. Check for dirt around the door locking mechanism. Try opening and closing it firmly a few times. But yeah 10 years is pretty long for front load (I assume). If it's working fine otherwise, why buy a new one if a simple repair can fix it!

Yes, a little push to the closed door would be sufficient, but it's not working any longer. Seems like the door locking mechanism has gone kaput. The other issue (manageable) with the machine has been that the Quick 30 doesn't work any longer, the beeper and display goes crazy so we have been using other modes. This is why I was wondering if it's just better to get a new one. Let me see if I can get a local technician to get it working again.

Push ke sahare hi chal rhi thi.

The local technicals are quoting Rs. 200 visiting charges + Rs. 1530 if the door lock has gone kaput. There’s a possibility that the door lock has shorted and it may require PCB repair as well. I can sense how this is going to go 🫠
