One of my friends will be travelling to the US shortly, and as is the Indian norm, folks have lengthy request lists. I for one too thought of getting something. However, my predicament is I dont know what 
I therefore need pointers on what 'cool' stuff - primarily gadgets / electronics - can be got from the US, which is (a) not available in India OR (b) way too expensive here. Just as a note, I don't want laptops, or any iPods / iPhones etc.
On my part, I had a passing thought of getting a BlackBerry without a camera - since there aren't any good ones available in India. Any other thoughts folks?
