Getting a Invalid Ip Address in my Local area network connection

Hello ,,For some reason i just noticed that my ip Address on my local area network connection is Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address: 169.254.149.14IPv4 Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0IPv4 Default Gateway: IPv4 DNS Server: IPv4 WINS Server: And i am able to connect to the internet. i connect by pppoe connection.. And when i go on to check whats my ip address i get a valid ip... Pl z can someone help me to remove this bad ip form my local area network connection... The things i tryed are..1-- Disabled and enabled the network adapter...2- release and renewthe ip form cmd 3- did winsock also still the same....Plz help me ........
 
Even I had the same problem, and because of that I was not able to connect to internet as opposite to your case.Infact I was not even able to login to router.What I did was hard reset my modem, by pressing the small push button (a pin or pencil may be required to press) at the back of the modem and keeping it pressed for 10-15 seconds. I am not taking about the modem on/off button.It will reset your modem to factory settings. Remember, after resetting you may be required to reconfigure some settings in the router. For me, it worked.. Maybe, it will solve your problems as well...
