Tata play fiber
Hey I am using TATA fiber from nearly a month, and I observed that it gets disconnected/restarted every 3 days around same time 4-6am ist. This is so frustrating as I am getting disconnected in active session every 3 days. Which I want to stay for 24/7 active and connected. Also this disconnect even thought it last for few mins hardly 5mins. Still I want an active and stable connection, without any interruption. Anyone got a fix for this ( I use the isp provided Nokia router).
Thank you

I think this is normal by tata probably to clear up their side connections stale sessions on their hardware like OLT etc. and or CGNAT sessions. I also see this even though I have static IP.

But if you explain why or what you need stable connection for then people could suggest workarounds here...

Basically the PPPoE resets every 3 days, you can see that in the router logs.
Every ISP has some or the other caveat, nothing works perfectly. If you want 24x7 uninterrupted connectivity, consider getting a business broadband or a leased line. Residential broadband connections don't provide 100% uptime in any case although Tata is one of the best players in the market with the lowest TAT in case of any issues.
On my Airtel connection, the PPPoE doesn't reset until I restart the modem/router. I have seen the same IP address for more than 30 days now(dynamic public IPv4).
If you don't want to lose connectivity even for a second but don't want to spend much, get Jio Airfiber or any other cheap local ISP and use it as a secondary connection in case Tata goes down.
