Getting excitel installed soon, please tell good and bad things about it.

OK got it, I refused to accept without a dumb onu, he says he will need time to arrange one.. Let's see...
 
@nishantt6969 yes I have airtel extreme fiber and am very happy with it I use it in bridge mode.... , recently it's one year tenure is over, so I was planning to test this excitel before I commit to it long term..
 
What I have learnt over the years of changing so many providers is that, you should always have 2 lines... Primary line should always be a huge provider like airtel /jio, you can keep switching the secondary line

ok so today the wiring was done and the cable was brought up to my room, everything was ok until he pulled out the optilink wifi router. I stopped him and told him that this device will not allow me to use the connection in bridge mode.
So he put me on a call with a technical person, I told him the issue, and he understood and said that the only way I can avoid the double NAT is if they use a 1G dumb ONU. I asked them to supply me with the same. So they agreed and didn't do the activation, they said they will get the dumb onu by evening or tomorrow and then activate the connection. This is the story so far ....
