I don't think they have a dumb 1G ONU in stock. In any case, do not allow them to activate the connection without that.

Day 06 and i am still waiting for them to find the 1G ONU,
going through the forums I have found a thread where the OP said they paid extra 1000 rupees to get it installed by the LCO, I have offered to do the same, but they are saying they will find it and install it without additional charge .... still waiting & Watching ...

Day 10, got a call from Excitel asking why my connection is still not activated, I told them it was because the LCO is unable to procure the 1G ONU, and they said ok and hung up. LCO called and said it will be done by monday... let's see ...

Day 12: LCO came with the 1G ONU and did the settings on my router only to realize that the connection is not getting activated.
He called the backend and found out that the connection that I applied for was under a promotional scheme to get a free wifi router and no installation charge ... and if I want to activate the connection on the dumb onu I must cancel the activation and apply again...
I was a little skeptical about the refund, but he reassured me that i will get the amount back ...
We proceeded to cancel the connection and decided to meet the next day...
