Getting Ip of Rajasthan Circle while I am in Chennai

I noticed a peculiar thing with Vi when I am in Chennai while is a Roaming Circle I am still getting the Ip Address of Rajasthan while is my Home Circle(From where I took the sim from). So the effect of this is very high pings as the packets go to Jaipur from Chennai and it only happens with Vi Prepaid. In Postpaid there is no problem like that. Even in other sims such as Jio and Airtel there is no such issue as such u get the Ip of the Circle where u are currently in.
Anybody has any idea how to solve this issue? So everytime I change my Circle do I have to take a new sim of VI?

@Gaurav_add it's normal on Vi to route traffic back to home circle during roaming. Happens even in Postpaid too

@RKhan21 My rommate also has Vi Postpaid his is from West Bengal Circle. He gets IP of Chennai.

While for me it is 160-250 ms on speedtest even if I choose same server

Are u sure the sim he uses is from WB? Vi doesn't have that feature where it uses local routing at all

In Truecaller it shows VI West Bengal so if wait lemme ask him tonight
