Try to find out how is cable network in your area. If that is good, you can look at TATA Indicom. Its not good, but better then not having anything else.

Thanks. I am researching into Sify and Hathway. If it is possible to connect Vonage using those ISPs. Sify customer service said, its possible. They have taken my number and Customer support will give me call.

Before opting for Sify or TATA Indicom, be warned that they can be only as good as ur cable wallah thru whom they will operate. I suggest u read Socrates?s experience: Sify subscriber beware !!!!!!!!!!!!

^^^Second that. DO check with subscribers in your area before taking any LAN based connection that comes through cable.

@rahul1979zPlease speak to someone in authority like the DE or even the PRO in that exchange (if ur exchange has one) or a DGM etc. What cables are they referring to. Coz this story of laying more cable sounds like a lot of bull as all exchanges are already interconnected by fibre optic cables. & to upgrade they only have to upgrade the equipment at either end not lay more cables Infact fibre optic cables come right to my colony junction box from where they have laid copper wires to individual houses.
