Good news ... TATA sky planning to add new HD Channels sooon ! [Newsflash]

ha haBIG TV added 2nd HD channel that too upscaled after 3 months of their launch They had only NGC HD and donot have Discovery HD And now for dose who come up saying abt Airtel even they have NGC HD only after 2 months of their launch

Well its really very surprising that BIGTV had added Star plus HD ahead of Tata Sky, where as Tata Sky is Still not having their own group Tie Up Channels in HD on their platform, which they have announced more then 2 months back.

Discovery regular channel and Discovery HD channel have different programs/shows. Does anyone know if Star TV and Star TV HD will have same programs running at same time? If they stop the current HD boxes and bring only the HD-DVR boxes, then there is something fishy behind the corporate. Do you guys know that the current HD box does not support ACTVE English channel!!! The customer care has confirmed that they are unable to fix this and they even don't know when likely customers(having HD box) will get this channel working. This has caused pain to many customers who are missing ACTVE English after getting HD Box.

The Discovery World HD broadcast US Discovery But in HD. IT will take time to have HD programme to be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telgu , or other Indian lanuage. Every HD service in India will take almost 2011 of end to have almost enough or almost all normal channels to be broadcast in HD. I predict the main price will be Rs.400

Have a look at what DirecTV in USA is providing..... More than 160 channels in real/full time HD. Their DVR also supports 1080p.... 3D HD on the way...

Check the transponders how many they have and how many HD channels in India are present
So many channels are awaiting lincese from I & B for HD donno why they r still not providing it. I & B ministry sucks
