Good place to buy books in Mumbai

Hi,Anyone please suggest me a good place in Mumbai to buy books second hand and new (on different subjects academics, novels, software etc.).Thanks.

There are a lot of book shops in & around Fort/CST area. One of the general book stores which I have personally visited is 'Sterling Book House'.If you are looking for second hand novels they are best bought from hawkers. I used to buy those from Matunga (Matunga Circle).Besides these if you want to first read a book & then buy it, Crossword would be a good place.

Hi Zeo,Thanks for the reply. Good info. I am more interested in buying second or new computer books (IT) at cheaper rates. Something I can bargain for. You know what I mean, doesn't matter if it from hawkers. Thoda bhav-taal karne mein easy ho, the mom's way of buying things, thanks a lot.

I don't have that much idea where specifically you would get cheap second hand computer books. IMO a visit to Fort/CST area would be worth its effort as these are the few places in Mumbai where you get the best deals in almost everything.
