what exactly does that mean? she had resetted the phone after the update... that was not enough? :nonchalance:
 
Well, they would get it fixed anyhow.
Here we can root the device and flash the same ROM again, it might work and it might not work, we can flash a different ROM whole together.
They would experiment with the phone, likely the same thing that we would do voiding the warranty of the phone.
 


lol. i am sure no one wants the service center guys to mess around with their devices. especially for issues that are related to software and not hardware.
 
Well, what else can you do in this situation :)
P.S are you certain that the network is being configured correctly on the phone? Like, all positive.
 
well she has tried on multiple wireless networks where the phone worked fine before the update. so i guess so. : anyways.
 
Alright, tell her to do one thing.
Go to the WiFi settings, select the option forget network.
Turn off Bluetooth, if it's off already, turn it on and back off.
Try connecting again.
If that doesn't help.
Turn off GPS and then forget network, try connecting to the network again (while the GPS is off).
