Nope. Shazam can't. But I'd rather want it to recognise actual tune than my lame attempt at reproducing what I heard and then Google fails at recognising it.

Song search has a new updated ui. Though detection is still slow based on random tests.

nope. it seems much faster. on newer songs it did not take more than 3-4 seconds. i might finally get to dump shazam!

this has more or less replaced the need to use shazam for me. recognizes practically all songs. the only problem is that Spotify does not appear as an option on some songs so i have to copy paste the content in spotify to add it to my liked list. shazam of course lets you search the song name for all recognized songs. but it does sometimes fumble by not copying artist name which results in a generic search which is not an optimal outcome.
