Google Local Guides

Editing & Adding Places Now Available Worldwide
We work hard to make sure Google Maps is the best app for people deciding where to go and how to get there. But the world changes fast. To keep up, we've created tools to suggest edits or add new places by tapping into your local knowledge.
Now we've made those features available worldwide by adding support for 159 new countries and territories — 246 total. You can do this from desktop, Android, and iOS.
We hope this is as inspiring for you as it is for us. Even if there isn't something wrong on the map, you can contribute answers, photos, or reviews to the places you've been at anytime.

If you are not already a member, you should become today!

Seriously. No one is using this program? :D

New: View Your Points on Google Maps Desktop
Head to your contributions tab on Google Maps for desktop to see your reviews, photos, suggested places to contribute to, and now your Local Guides points and level. Click on the progress bar to see the full breakdown.

Popular Times Now Available for iOS
Tired of having to wait in line for your favorite restaurants? You can see when places are the most busy in the Google Maps app for both Android, and now iOS. Popular times are based on average popularity over the last several weeks, based on data from users who chose to share location information with Google.
