Google Nexus 5: Both the outlets at the bottom are speakers?

Coz for me on the left outlet has sound. Is the right outlet the mic for the phone? Just curious. Noticed just few days ago.
 
Yup. Ifixit explains it all. Check their teardown thingy of N5.
 
The speaker pops out with minimal fuss; it's only secured by few screws and no cables. This is the Nexus standard single speaker, despite the dual grilles.
No, this Nexus is not preparing for a BBQ—the second grille is for the microphone. Don't worry; we'll get there soon.

Yup. I remember it very clearly as there was an uproar on XDA when people started reporting that one side of the speaker was not working. Some people even RMAed their phone :D
 
right. Galaxy nexus had better voice quality compared to nexus 5. i realized this within 5 seconds of owning the nexus 5.
