Till now experience with pixel 7a is good, though i noticed night mode of camera is making skin too smooth after update.

Battery drains fast but could be bco of 5g poor network.


Saved money with hdfc no cost emi.

Flipkart gave fair price for my dying phone, it was too slow even after factory reset. They only deducted price for minor body damage which fair as damage was quite obvious. I had dropped it badly really a lot of times.

Once issue is Flipkart was showing expected pickup 2 June and suddenly scheduled it yesterday so I was not prepared and delivery guy also came too early so I couldn't check the old phone box properly and forgot to remove old sim which is disabled as I am using esim now.

How's the heating issues? I have read lot of users are complaining of mobile getting very hot along the side frame. Another thing is camera shutting down when recording at 4K60 or 30 fps. Not that everyone will use it, but heating issues are bad for this device in the long run.
Modem issues are there, you cannot complain about it.

What was the no cost EMI discount?

With hdfc i was getting 12 months no cost emi so Flipkart gives that interest amount ₹ 3200 something as discount. This discount is later charged as interest on emi by bank.

So after 2-3 days when emi is processed and i get notification from bank i can call them and tell that i want to prepay this loan/emi.

Thus saving this 3200₹

For me it’s showing 6 months maximum tenure as no cost EMI. I wonder why is there a discrimination
