have you activated google music on your account by going to music.google.com? you cannot access google music store from indian IPs. music.google.com should work fine. if yes, i guess google might have changed something in the backend on fresh accounts. i had enabled google music on my account pretty long time back and it works great on connection here without any proxy or VPN...

Yup! Google music store won't work.You can Upload and stream tracks on PC as well as on Mobile. No shopping as of now.

I have activated google music on my account, and it opens fine as long as i open it through VPN or using ninjacloak(dot)com as suggested by Samuel, however, when i open it normally, the same perennial error shows : We're sorry. Google Music is currently only available in the United States.

You may be correct that google may have changed the rule now... Maybe for new account you don't only just need to have a US-based account, but also you have to be in the US in order to USE Google Music.

Well I still use Google Music. Only difference is that I activated it in our company's USA server.Once done there have been no issues at all...

Duh! Just open it using ninjacloak(dot)com for the first time.

Activate it and it works without any proxy then.

Activated successfully, but without proxy it does not work, even though i changed my google account country to US

Google Play Music Manager is not uploaded music files from my computer. Either this is a bug that would get resolved automatically or they might have blocked users from outside the US market! Just checking.

But u have been telling that u r uploading songs to ur Music account right? So there shudnt be any issue with this upload tool as well. May be it cud be a bug only.....but u cant report, just like u cant complain about a pirated software!
