heh yeah. but it still would have been pretty cool feature to have!
google docs got a similar feature yesterday. you can upload complete folders on your account. and uploads are done in a layer that opens at the bottom while you can still work on your document dashboard.
google does have the technology and the implementation. but they usually do not get it right the first time around

ok. just sent a mail on gmail. and well it was indeed fast. as soon as i pressed the sent button, gmail took me to the inbox. and the mail sending happened in background.
saved me 2-3 seconds of staring on the screen. so it does work well. i can only hope that they do support attachments too in the future. that would be awesome.

that tells me that gmail does take a lot of time sending a simple text email! i think yahoo and hotmail does it faster.
