Google Wallpaper (background image)

Google adds a wallpaper to their search engine homepage!

they have turned this feature on for today.

removing it is pretty easy. bottom left.

i think i like it.

i switched to red gradient background. anyways. what do you guys see at left bottom? change image or remove image?

I get "Change background image" (didnt login though)I am happy with plain google

Second time in recent memory Google is 'inspired' by Bing. Should MS take a bow?

No Google always aimed at quality/usability whereas MS always aimed at user interface.Now that Google is way ahead in terms of quality it is thinking of flexible UI, thats why it launched themes in GMail too.

and they have always made sure that these are made optional. so you can retain the original experience if you want to. i actually like the background wallpaper option on google homepage. makes it more soothing. i am not a fan of white backgrounds.

personally i like the white background at it looks neat one atleast for me .. and its optional .. i prefer to stay with white one .. not like bing where i need to stick what they show us ..
