I recently got BSNL fiber connection, as a installation process they gave me a TechNxt (RL821GWV) fiber modem with very crappy firmware. I am thinking of changing it. Could you please suggest some available firmwares and how to flash them?

Me too. Got an Optronix RL821GWV(Yes same model but different brand.) I can't even do port forwarding and DDNS didn't work. So I called them told everything. They tried everything they could and finally called the next day and said they need to upgrade the firmware and now everything works fine. Hope it helps.
