We are truly doomed.

Thread title is misleading... even if true.

It clearly says - only after 10 days and that too only if there is no fever continuously for 3 days.

And after that too there is 7 day home isolation for them

This is done to save "beds" for serious cases. There is no point in keeping patients with mild symptoms for 10days and already assured of recovery. (even if no testing is done)

Better use beds and test kits for patients who are under threat. We are already running out of beds and ventilators.

I love how you are trying to justify it as a solid move. Just because you are not showing symptoms doesn't mean you are COVID-19 free. You can still carry the virus and absolutely show no symptoms. And you may not be at harm anymore but you are going to infect countless others. Discharged patients are not required to remain in 14-day quarantine anymore but simple 7-day isolation now?

Mild patients for 10 days are assured to recover? Who is assuring them? Who will take responsibility if they test +ve again? Who will take responsibility if they manage to spread the virus amongst say 10 or 20 more people during that time because the government had cleared you?

You need to show -ve in 2 tests before you can be discharged. That is the policy in most places. Our government just doesn't feel like testing anymore. Why not test anymore? It has been proven time and again that we can beat this only by testing more. And not by testing less.

This is a clear attempt to reduce the number of positive cases.

Btw the hospital not having enough beds - whose fault is that? Our health budget is just 1% of GDP which is disgusting to say the least.

Our government just doesn't have a solid plan. I think the number of confirmed cases will reach around 75,000 in the next 4-5 days.

whats with not testing attitude.. easy way out.. to create bigger problem later dumb

Seems the government just wants to kick-start the economy with no safeguards or planning...

What is kejriwal doing?? Kejriwal Said His Govt. is Fully Prepared. Earlier he was boasting about govt. having nearly 400 ventilators and in private around 100. I don't know how having 500 Ventilators for a expected population size of 3.1 Crores is something to be proud about and Now he is suggesting for patients to go for home isolation if they catch Covid 19. First hiding the death numbers and now when everyday we are getting 1000 cases, he still doesn't seem to have a plan in place to prevent the spread.
