Only 2 - 3% of covid 19 symptomatic patients require ventilators . So, for 20k symptomatic cases 500 ventilators are adequate and about asymptomatic cases 10 days home quarantine is more than enough

It is also a wise decision that relaxing the lock down slowly and gradually so from the asymptomatic cases the herd immunity will increase. It is also impossible to zero the cases in any country, the only way out is get the covid 19 and the natural immune in you will fight and cure or suppress it.

Even the 2003 pandemic SARS still do not has vaccine or medicine yet. It vanished by herd immunity. so don't blame the government. there are flaws, But any government in the world does the same. Even the china, south korea etc have not zeroed the cases they are still finding new cases everyday

And of 90k+ cases 90% + would be asymptomatic

Okay so right now we are at 18K cases and roughly 1000 cases are being added everyday. Soon that 2-3% will be much higher than 500. Kejriwal could have done a lot. Less money on advertisements , more money towards testing and preparation for post lock down would have helped us. The red zones that are currently being declared all over Delhi are a joke. My area was sealed shut yet people were buying supplies through the gaps that were between the barricades that were set up and these barricades were blown away by the wind twice! South Korea hasn't zeroed the number of cases but we all now how vigilant they have been with contact tracing and testing. Without criticism and intelligent reporting, the government cannot govern. So yes I will continue to blame the government for its failures.

My friend who works in a hospital (Non Covid-19 ward) was infected because his boss was also infected. Then other 3 members of my friend's family were tested and had it as well. But all 4 people were asymptomatic but tested positive. His mom and dad above 60 yrs age had mild nausea but they did not identify that as Covid-19 symptom.
There might be many more asymptomatic people walking about streets even without knowing and we must brace ourselves for huge jump once malls and places of worship open on 8th June. It would still be wise to wait out 2 months in your own house to checkout the mayhem which might ensue. Especially Sr. Citizens must avoid going out.

It's as if Centre has abdicated it's responsibility and told the states " Bahut ho gaya Lockdown, Abhi Apna Apna Dekho!!"

I am not sure where you are @sanke3 but in Maharashtra Malls/market places and worship places will remain closed till June 30. (as per today's guidelines)

However, road side market and shops will be allowed to open from tomorrow (or may be 3rd/5th June). There is some odd-even scheme. Something like shops on left side of road will open on odd days and shops on right side of road will open on even days.

The modification in discharge rules makes sense though. Covid positive patients were found to be non infectious (they cannot transmit to others) after 10 days since virus exposure. Plus if they are healthy, they likely won't be requiring medical assistance and a need arises, they can call for help again. It will really help alleviate the stressed out public healthcare.
