Yea, they will not forward the benefit to consumer

Let the verdict come but i think if the cost come down then i think TS might reduce the price if ESS decrease their price ..............

This wud not happen even if espn reduce their price

Just came to know that DTH price for ESS - Rs. 44.18 and Star cricket - Rs.28..........put together it comes to Rs. 72.18 but TS customer needs to pay Rs. 40 only from Oct - 1st........:thumb:

Well, ESPN said they are incurring heavy expenditure so it forced them to charge more for DTH. If so, then why the hell are they charging only Rs.5 for CAS areas and yeah Rs.5 is the ceiling for pay channels. then why not they follow the same rule for DTHs. I want TRAI to make PAY CHANNELS mandotorily available for Rs.5 for DTHs too.

That's the main problem in DTHwhereas in CAS rs5 per channel is good but wen total channels comesthe price becomes same as that of dth

I dont why govt is not forcing Rs. 5 per channel for DTH to the brodcasters also if the same is applicable for CAS for the growth of industry why not DTH as it is also a grwoing industry...... I think Govt. should bring in Rs. 5 per channel in DTH also and it should retained for the same price atleast for 3 years by that time i think DTH market would have attained the growth........
