@markiv @f0r3he4d Even if these lobbyist are planning to cash 6Ghz upper bands ig it will again be a failure tech if not given UL as we are seeing how many YTubers have posted about demerits of this airfiber and related tech. I'm wishful about some local ISP now taking the charge and not the giants again guarding their garden like the selfish giant 🙂

afaik, in one of Parag sir video I listened to this issue. Talked about how these antennas are just eating up significant chunk of available spectrum and thus the wifi router speed issues. Ngl in my neighborhood, too many people complain about lower jio airfiber speeds even though there is clear LOS from their terrace antenna lol, shtty tech will fail soon only matter of time when enough people get frustrated and start looking beyond OTT benefits.

Yes they hog up all the unlicensed wifi spectrum to transmit their Air Fiber services. It's on all the time so 24x7 Wifi noise. These things might work in rural places but in cities it just degrades everyone's Wifi user experience.

I'm now only worried about jio's A6 scenario too since it also supports this 6Ghz . Sarkar took baby steps but good things only started may it carry on without fear.

Then they will be dealing additionally with the guard band issue as well otherwise their own cellular nw will get blocked for which these all are fighting

Finally something good afternoon long wait. There are other ways to have easy reach for these giants apart from 6ghz like Project Taara is costly but signal travels via light beam, 60ghz or above but need govt delicencing, etc. if resources are optimally used then there would be hardly any scope left for starlink/satcom.
@Kaiju404 jio airfiber would not send or receive signals on 6ghz untill the time permissible power level is not increased and I don't think so it will be increased till the time it remains at 500mhz total in 6ghz band

Jio already has a new wifi device upcoming to cripple the efforts. They are already here ready with their gear 🙂 🥀

If they use it with low power for indoor, that's allowed. High Power is for outdoor connection which is not permitted, jio will not risk this, smaller isp can risk it but not worth the penalty. Even sale of 6ghz band high power outdoor unit is not allowed in India
