well, if base price for fixed for 100 or 125 and then u pay for pay channels 30 pay channels and then taxes.. overall it will cross 300+ again.so as a customer what difference it makes in financial terms? yes u get to see channels u want but there will be cases u will want see some channel which u havnet subscribed to. so overall it wud be 1 and same thing.slight benefit but not satisfactory.

Dont think like that, if we get all the channels in alacarte, the customer will not subscribe to unwanted paychannels, so some channels become free. :cool2:Now we are in position to subscribe some of the unwanted and very low content pay channels.

thats my whole point, they dont want us to do have freedom. so they wont let this happen.

no, in case of mobile, they are silent because there are way too many consumers and keep increasing.

in case of DTH, avg family is 4-5 plus cable has penetrated deeply. So wont survive at 5Rs scheme. so they wont let it happen till they see some profit.

Many are complecating and comparing DTH with Mobile and you gave the right answer.........

As you said in a house there might be 5 people and atleast now 3 -4 people might be using mobile where in DTH its not the case...........The mobile subscribers are high and penetration happens and it is growing market day by day unlike DTH...........
