So finally got IPv6 working.

Screenshot-20240531-163024.png

Code:
wrote to some people in bsnl:

Dear BSNL,

Again reminding you that it's been over 6 months since I am writing you regarding the issue. But no one in this organization cares about customer. Everybody just watching it die. Good luck if you survive next decade like this.

someone took it very seriously :LOL:

Code:
Sir,

 Kindly check & update the ipv6 service now.

SDE (FTTH).
FTTH NOC.
BBNW. Bangalore.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited

and you were right @!!..PD..!! nothing works except mailing them. Thanks to you too.

@Trex Please mention the email IDs and the people who you contacted.
Local BSNL offices and the LCO are clueless about IPv6. Their only question is: Is the Internet working?

Not good if everyone start sending mail to one person for every issue. Send mail to everyone having position in noc provided in above link.

You can add all of them in your mail client.

But first try to set IPv6 on your ONT using the FTTH Facilitation Center guides and then make sure that you do get the IPv6 address along with prefix and dns on ONT.

If test fails after your testing on the ONT then complaint because they'll be frustrated if it is just a configuration issue on your end.

There is new info under IPv6 status. Now it shows expiry and it's 30 days.

Protocol: DHCPv6 client
Prefix Delegated: *
Address: *
Gateway: fe80::200:5eff:fe00:12
DNS: 2001:4490:3ffe:13::34
Expires: 29d 20h 42m 8s
Connected: 3h 17m 52s

Don't know. Just noticed. I don't have power backup, so if there is no power cut I will know after 24 hours. This seems to be for v6 only.
