Reading Adder's update on the setbox heating up and other issues, I am compelled to comment that his observations are only hearsay. I would suggest he uses one before commenting. I have continuously watched for 8 hours on Sunday and had no such problem. Agreed that it is not fully ready but yes,:thumbsup: its close to it.

well i do have a big tv ,u wont proof,i have been using it for a long time,the heating is not acceptable by my standards i wasnt worried about the heating stuff until the stb started to freeze, i stay in blore btw the room temp itself is around 32 to 33.8 .so mine is not an AC room.if u watched for 8hrs continously then good for u.
i have compared spiderman 3 dvd played by my xbox(first one)via composite and compared the same movie that was played in big tv pay per view channel 136,137 connected via component,i could still find more detail in movie played via xbox,this shows that its definetly not dvd quality.
rather then giving all those radio channels i wish they reduce the compression on video channels.

Did you every work on Something that is connected through cable and something that is wireless?-> LAN through RJ45 Cable and Wireless LAN?-> 5.1 Wired Speakers and 5.1 Wireless Speakers?What i am trying to say - connecting your TV with something that is a direct device for local playback will ALWAYS be far better than something that you receive via Satellite!

Well both have different Graphics. Xbox is working on different method and STB working different method. I seen Big TV and it is DVD type picture quality. I didn't find any pixaltion or bad quality pictures in it.

This is done to seprate different catagories of channel.
For eg. channel starting with 2 are gneral entertainment channels (English & Hindi), those starting with 3 are movies channel & so on.......so first digit of channel denotes if they are sports, regional, music etc. channels

well the funny thing was the CC & the supervisor said the quality will be the same as a dvd player:rofl:,well the fact is xbox connected via composite is better then the stb connected via component & the component cables itself costs more then the STB.now there could many reason why the xbox is better one reason is that xbox is giving a 16:9 signal,but the stb even though it has a 16:9 option in the menu still gives 4:3 signal,my lcd will now have strech the image to fit the screen.:wall:.anyway i feel the quality is much better then before but i guess i was expecting a lot about thr much hyped big tv.well i heard that they are going to give around 20 radio channels which is part of the 240ch.i feel they should increase the quality on video ch rather then giving more radio ch.about the numbering system according the customer care its because they are in the testing phase.

Well when you see Spidermen in your DVD player, DVD is compression with high data and fixed one so you get it more clear.

While Live channels are comming from transmission and this have different standerd from DVDs. But Big Tv provide great quality on such low 0.10 compression rate at the moment.

hmm... when i called cc today, he says bigtv for pco distributors offer is still running. he said that pco operator must recharge his phone for 2500 bucks and he gets so & so talktime. after this, he told to call tollfree again. then he will register request for bigtv and it takes around 7-10 days to process the request
