Gurgaon Administration suspends operation of private buses like Ola Shuttle and Shuttl

The Gurgaon RTA said there is no provision for Shuttl and Ola to operate services that directly compete with the state-run city bus service and Resident Welfare Association (RWA) buses. Last month, Gurgaon-based bus aggregation startup Trevo shut its services after plying for barely a month.
When asked whether the state will have defined guidelines for the new-age startups solving the last mile connectivity through shuttle services, Bhushan said, “We don’t have an immediate plan to allow shuttle services but in the future we may formulate some checks and balances for such services.”

i work at cyber city and commute often via shuttl. and one of the driver whos well known to me told me whole scenario. he even emphasize the cab companies trying to supress the incident.

with facebook and twitter on every phone out there, i do not think it's remotely possible to suppress any story in a city like gurgaon. but sad to see that shuttl and ola shuttle suffer from the same issues as the cab companies. one would imagine that a bus service would be relatively trouble free as there are more people sitting inside the vehicle at any given time and it roams on major roads of the city as well.

Exactly ...its easy to say but when u see the one who was taking pics was beaten badly by the morons. even the cellphone was snatched by them then i bet nobody can accumulate courage to take pics again. ive experienced such situations already . so Bro its not so easy as it seems.

moreover... professional guys who came to Gurgaon from far places ..dont bother in getting into such cases... even someone murder in public places they just neglect like nothing happened...
