Hey all I found a very god crack for sify Broadband .I is simple bt , till now i am not able to figure out y it happens .The crack is simple. First you need an IP scanner like "Angry IP scanner" . Download It n start scaning you own IP range if you get any ip alive there is a good chance that he had loged in . Now If we consider a probability that out of every 10 persons 8 have configured their lan themselves , then we can see that the subnet mask alloted by win XP automatically to sify's ip range that starts with 10.x.x.x is 255.0.0.0. So by this I fortunately found a good crack .If we re-configure our lan card with his IP n the subnet mast 255.255.255.0 then the Internet signal that shd go to him comes to us n we cam use his net *this technique works wid Linux n Mac . I havent tried it on win yet bt try it your self.N if any one cn tell me y this happens I will b b very glad

this is a very old trick, but here u have to keep changing the ip address & any network noob can also find out who is doing this. so u can be caught easily.

now sify has got some intelligence. they have started to lock the MAC address of the system along with the IP Address.. so they Hack may not work...

^^ the mac id binding is not compulsory. so the hack is still possible provided that the victim has not opted for it

hey rachit, i am currently user of sify. my MAC address is bound to my ip address that has been alloted to me. u please do check with ur customer care once.....

^^ what i said is that if you tell the customer care they can even remove the mac id binding. then in that case, your account becomes hackable

sify broadband in my area is provided by the wablewallahs and all of them are gundas. the owner of the cable service is in politics(NCP) and he had won the last lok sabha elections. since last three months we are paying Rs. 50 only for cable tv. it's his gift for us this election. a kind of cash-for-votes of his own kind. can you image what those people will do to me if i was caught hacking connections.
