Wish u a Happy pongal. For me Tamil new year is on April 14th.I dont know the reason why karuna changed it to Jan.14th.We have been celebrating Tamil New year for years on April 14th.If karuna ask us to celebrate new year on Dec 31st will u people celebrate it??????????

I also hate it. Who is he to decide I will celeberate Pongal(no Tamil new year ) and importantly Maatu Pongal If Stalin comes he might move the Tamil new year to 3rd June (Karuna's birthday)

Yes, we can t even imaging about the Tamil new year on Pongal day., Tamizhar thirunal is fair enough to celebrate on 14th, or on pongal day. But it need not to be a new year day.,, even Kee. Pee and Kee. Mu is calculated based on the Jesus Christ birth., then they can change the new year to Christmas day.,It is the same kind of non-sense by changing the tamil new year on Pongal day.

Certainly i am not interested in celebrating tamil new year on jan -14........i will celebrate tamil new year on Apr-14 only.......:cool2:
