Has Airtel upgraded 40mbps V-Fiber plans to 80mbps (even on 499 plan) ?

For me I'm happy though. I'm using airtel since from 1 and half year started at 40mbps.
Before I was on BSNL for 3+yrs with 8mbps down and 512kbps upload along with 10-20 times internet disconnections/reconnect per day as added bonus by BSNL and poor support. After using airtel it just blown out my mind knowing home broadband can be so smooth.

I hate local cable operator/ACT/Jio because of CG-NAT as I use homelab and does port forward for some stuff.

I have not even been able to get the 40 mbps on VDSL - So, I am not going to trust Airtel, unless literally they show me a neighbour having it. I see from their website plans start at 799 - I already have Hathway which is going ok, so Airtel is my backup for now.

If you are asking how come Airtel Fiber is not there in my street - Not sure.

This whole change makes no sense. Does it mean they are not going to launch fiber?

Not sure. Maybe its just not available in all places or it is. Who knows. Maybe because of corona situation they are not able to promote much as of now.

Sab bahane baazi hai. Airtel hai hi aisa. Purane customers ki sochta nahi hai. New ko Fiber de rha hai.

Right, I expect that to be the case. Given the current situation, I dont care as Hathway is fine for me now. As a backup, whatever Airtel is offering is just fine - I dont want to pay more.

Similar change observed on fiber connection. Getting 50 up/down on 40mbps plan.

My Airtel 40 mbps connection gave 80 to 90 mbps and then it came down to 5 mbps at present and the landline is dead ........what is the problem in Kolkata ??

Same I'm getting like 80Mbps on 40mbps plan in Delhi but 2days back the speed was back to normal -40Mbps when I checked today it was 70-80 again Wth is wrong with airtel If they have upgraded the speed can't they just mention it in the plans? Or its some kind of technical problem from which I am.getting twice the speed
