has anyone tested wether jio set top box apps like hotstar works without its plan

wanted to know can i use jio set top box apps like Hotstar or zee5 without using its plan 999.if i subscribe to those apps using my registered number then can i view live tv channels like star plus live hotstar?has anyone able to view live these channels?

i guess jio has to advertise their 999 plan so Hotstar live channels is available only in jio plan in jio set top

it think it works. If it is with same mobile number. else you have to login with that details.

As long as you're using Jio fiber connection it works. I'm currently using prime video with my own account, I simply signed into the app in STB.

@Siddharth070999 They don't work. Post the Jio subscription is de-activated, the OTT app subscription is also deactived as per their billing cycle.

Yes it should work. All in all, it requires an active subscription irrespective of whether you subscribe it or jio subscribes on your behalf.
