Have to upgrade Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 8

are you sure you upgraded your 32bit windows 7 to 64bit windows 8? i am talking about upgrade. not a install that replaces previous installation.you can boot from 64bit iso and replace a 32bit install. but you lose everything in that case.

Nope sushubh bhai. I have upgraded mine as all mine data and files as as it is with me. But still I would like to double check whether I was having 64 bit installer or 32 before confirming you 100%So, if you are not upgrading tonight will confirm you by tomorrow as I am on mobile and laptops closed.

no worries. i can safely say that microsoft does not support upgrading a 32bit install to a 64bit install.

unless it uploads instantly which it usually does for common files... there is no point. so give it a try. if it show upload time in hours, leave it.
