In coverage map, I have seen that ahmedabad is planned. What does it means? installation is completed or taken just in planning.
It means it's planned that we will go there, as in we have to figure out where stuff already is and where our stuff needs to go, various officialdoms (such as right of way) and then we have to deal with (in your case) an apparently sociopathic cablewala, not unlike the ones in Sion and 7 Bungalows and whatnot.
Hey FIRST of ALL MG why not cover the WHOLE MUMBAI first, like SION etc.
Your first pirority should be MUMBAI, DELHI, they are the main market centre.
Our priorities ARE Mumbai and Delhi, but there are some areas where it might simply not be possible to go to areas like Sion. We also have a project which is 100% sorted out in Pune (including right of way and ducting and everything else) - we just need to lay the physical fibers.
Are you seriously suggesting that if we can't cover (for example) Sion for some reason, that the rest of the country should miss out and we shouldn't go and cover Ahmedabad or Chennai or Kolkata or Chandigargh or Amritsar or Trivandrum or Chandanpur or Patna or (name any city you can think of)? That would be ridiculous.

So, it looks like your target is to cover pune, mumbai and delhi first. Then you will move on to the rest of the parts of the country. I think I may get Reliance infotel before you in which I am not interested to get because Reliance is biggest thief in the market and those credits go to their employees. They made company's reputation worse.
I can assume that hayai will be feasible to rest of the parts of india in the year end of 2012.

In mumbai I already saw Fivenet providing 1mbps unlimited at 500 per month :O and they have already crossed 25thousand subscribers as per their notice on their website within this such small period of time :O also have received A class licence :O so are all mumbains shifting to fivenet? 25K user base is a lot for cable isp :iomg:

Good to see you mention Ahmedabad in your post. I would like to bring attention that Ahmedabad is surrounded by Gandhinagar (Cap. of Gujarat), GIFT City (underconstruction) and Dholera SIR (Future CITY). A well developed marketing, could help you to cover all the four big cities of Gujarat.

Trust me u will face disconnection with FIVENET, and i still wonder why would some1 keep unlimited at this much low rates.
I like HATWAY more than any local cables, and also RELIANCE is my first preference, but then bcause of BAD CUSTOMER CARE and STUPID LOGIN PAGE, RELIANCE is my second preference.

I agree that you will work fast as much as you can to establish your network in entire nation but it is not easy to do business in india with honesty. There are lots of complication in cabling which have experienced in my area as well as nearest area which is very populated and developed in ahmedabad which is old ahmedabad.

I agree with you but hayai network and intention to enter in india is different. There will be no comparison with small company. You can compare hayai with airtel, tata and reliance which are the king of whole nation. Hayai is just on starting phase. Once indians become habitual with hayai speed. It does not matter how much hayai limits their customers' usage.
I am talking with experience. I have experience 7-10mbps speed constantly not with 3g. I am talking about wireless connection at the singapore airport.
