What does CA have to do with voice calls?

So far as I can tell, in India only Vodafone Idea has implemented HD+ calls; and it is no wonder because they were also the only telecom (other than Tata Docomo) to do HD Voice over 3G.

Anyway, HD+ works when I call Vi-to-Vi, get this, it works on Samsung and....Tecno phones (also Samsung-to-Tecno and vice versa).

Seems Only Samsung and Tecno allow EVS codec (HD+) for Vi. For Jio almost every smartphone supports it except samsung

I would find that weird. Jio built it's whole network on Samsung RANs, why would it not work?

I have in practice never seen HD+ on Jio even when using Tecno, OnePlus, Vivo phones.

Anyone know why vowifi keep getting off in samsung phone? No such problem with iPhone or Xiaomi phone.
