Help: Airtel Digital TV on a TV Tuner

I have recently purchased Airtel Digital TV. Prior to this i had a cable connection (RF, Coax) and i used a TV tuner that has only RF receiver. After the switch to Airtel, the connection from the STB to the TV tuner is still done using a RF cable.While this is certainly more enhanced in clarity over the previous, it is not as clear as it would otherwise be using the AV mode.Can anyone guide me on how i can get maximum clarity from Airtel Digital TV by recommending the right brands of TV tuners with AV inputs, RF to AV converters or other viable methods, so that i can do away with the analog RF altogether? :huhS: I have a 17" LG LCD monitor

use quality tv tuners like pinnacle TV Tuner Cards but it costs a lot a bought one for 10K 5 years back quality is nice

i have pinnacle hd card .very good ..is it possible to record tv from airtel stb via ( yellow) video .red+white (sound) cord into pc as a mpeg 2 format??

Hi,yesterday I got my new airtel dth installed. I have a Pinnacle PCI 100i Analog Tv tuner card. It has only RF connector. when i connect the stb with my tuner card through RF cable, and run the tv tuner scanner, it found one channel but I can see only white screen on it. I have logged a complain but the airtel guys dont seem to have much experience with installing stb on computer.Also I am not sure it is a stb problem or I am missing any configuration setting on my tv tuner software.

hey ..connect ur stb via yellow,red and white cord with pinnacle 110i.u have one adaptor provided by pinnacle ..attach that adaptor with yellow one for video .buy a separate audio cord that has ( red and white one side and another side has audio jack for computer connector).plug on ur stb .run pinnacle software .select source as composite , u should be able to view channles ,change ur channels via stb remote ..if u need watching tv in media centre just hack d ir receiver ..please dont buy it ..:rofl:

do you mean connecting the stb and tv tuner directly through Rf cable will not work for this card/airtel stb ?? I am not provided with any adaptor by pinnacle. Can you please provide me more details about the adaptor.also can you suggest me one good tv tuner card which has RCA input. I have talked to my card dealer and he had promised me that if my current card does not work to dish tv then I can replace it with some other card. thanks for ur reply.
