Help! BSNL Broad band not working in my windows 7

Hi All,I recently bought LG optimus one and tried to configure the bsnl Nokia siemens router for wifi access.I followed a guide in a website I've forgotten, after which everything stopped working!The windows failed to deduct even the LAN connection. After some struggle, I reset the router to defaults and it can now find the network.But the internet is not working any more. I've reinstalled windows 7 twice and installed a XP SP2 pro. Nothing worked.The diagnosis by windows reports that "invalid IP configuration".I did IPCONFIG/ ALL IPCONFIG/RENEW but that also did not work.Any idea what else can be done ? Any help is appreciated..thanks
