Help me decide between JioFiber, Airtel & Excitel.

@NME9877 Airtel has both DSL and FTTH (Fiber to the Home, what you’re calling ‘True Fiber’). Airtel is rolling out fiber but most areas still have DSL (VDSL, ADSL, V-Fiber whatever they like to call it). Jio Fiber is obviously better than any DSL connection by whichever ISP. So in your case Jio is better than Airtel.

@NME9877 Airtel V-Fiber is VDSL
Airtel Xstream Fiber is FTTH
JioFiber is FTTH
Excitel Fiber is FTTH
Hope this helps to clear your confusion of True Fiber.
If you're getting V-Fiber from Airtel, it's better to stick to JioFiber. If you're getting Xstream Fiber, then go for it.

Airtel has the best customer service for sure. But I was skeptical cuz of two reasons-
1) JIO FIBER is True Fiber(future proof)
2) Jio Fiber is offering set top box with 11 OTT services (I'll Go for the Gold pack, 999 one, when my own Hotstar and Prime subs ends)
also ive heard Airtel Xstream box isnt that good, and also they dont offer much straeming platforms.
I have heard that in Airtel xstream box you get google play store while in jio set top box jio can only add apps which is quite a big disadvantage from my perspective if they wish they can cancel their partnership with OTT apps and you will then not be able to get the app on the jio set top box. These issues were noticed when both were launched. Now I don’t know if jio has added google play store or not in the set top box.

Ohh Okayy. Yea I guess I was confused. No, then I meant Xstream Fiber only. So now I need to Decide between Jio Fiber, Airtel Xstream Fiber, and Excitel Fiber.
Although, most votes seems in Favor of Airtel Xstream Fiber...

@NME9877 Jio blocks websites on their own, like they blocked Twitch recently though unblocked now. This has created a lack of trust in Jio and rightly so. CGNAT is also an issue but depends on your usage, in some games it creates problems, like FIFA. Accessing your DVR will also not be possible because of CGNAT but Jio will help you in that case by forwarding ports in their CGNAT router, you will have to call customer care and the process doesn’t seem straight forward.
The good thing is that there are almost no downtimes or speed fluctuations.

There's a small Issue guys.
I called and checked, idk why, but Airtel Ftth isn't available at my place. I mean wtf.. Why does Airtel wants their existing customers to shift to other isp! This Sucks. I put up in West Delhi, and I can't believe Jio fiber came just few days back in my area, and Airtel still doesn't supply it's Fiber here! what new bs is this now...

If even Excitel Fiber is not available at your location, then there is no point comparing Excitel Ethernet to JioFiber.Stick to Jio.
Jio would meet all your requirements that you mentioned in the opening post. You can use third party apps for the DVR.

For only internet without OTT Excitel Fiber is VFM...... otherwise go for Airtel Fiber if available.
