So, Yesterday, I requested Bridge Mode via the Airtel Thanks App, and a ticket was created. Today, a technician visited, called someone, and told me it would be enabled by evening. By then, Ports 3 & 4 were switched to Bridge Mode, but I'm still facing the issue.
I’ve connected my Mikrotik router (ether1) to LAN 4, added VLAN 100, and configured PPPoE with my Airtel credentials. However, my MikroTik’s PPPoE client is stuck at "Waiting for Packets" and refuses to establish a connection.
LAN 4 LED blinks during boot-up but fades as soon as the Auth LED blinks.
The ethernet cable is tested and working.
Tried manually setting VLAN 100 on MikroTik
Configured PPPoE on VLAN 100:
Tried disabling VLAN 100 on MikroTik and using ether1 directly, but no luck.
Checked MikroTik logs, only shows PPPoE discovery but no response from Airtel.
Change Router to a TP-Link shows WAN Port not Connected.
Do Any of you Guys Know:
1 Why does Bridge Port Lan Led stop blinking after authentication? Is this normal behavior for the Nokia G-2425G-A?
2 Is there a known fix or workaround for this issue?
