Help Needed : Root Canal Treatment and Dental issues

I have not done a root canal off late. I am pretty sure it was around 2004 when I had it done.
 
Got my first root canal done today , wasn't painful at all , giving a blood sample is more painful , have to get crown next week , @chaibiskutbhai any suggestions for crown which is the best quality , is ceramic the best? & are there different types of fillings?
 
I also had some bad tooth. All was done free during free medical checkup in my college.

Zircon is the best quality but the costliest one too. It cost me 6750 with a 5 year replacement warranty

Basically, you have a choice of Full-Ceramic (5000-8000/unit), Metal-Ceramic(2000-3000) or nickel-chrome (Like Steel, 1000-1500/u).
All of them function equally well. The only difference is in aesthetics. Full ceramic crowns are of various types, like IPS, Zircon, Cerec, etc. They have the best aesthetics. If its for an anterior tooth, then I recommend a full-ceramic crown.
Reg fillings, three types are used commonly. Composite Resin, Glass Ionomer cement and Silver Amalgam. Composites have by far the best aesthetic value.
 
Here the charges for treatment & crown are very high compared to the rates mentioned in this thread , 6k for root canal & 16k for full ceramic crown , 6k for metal-ceramic .
 
I paid 6500 rupees for a full ceramic crown. Probably slightly less because the Dentist is known to us but still I think the regular price wouldnt be more than ~8k or so.
 
16k for a ceramic crown is extortion. are you by any chance visiting this clinic http://www.dentzz.com/. They are known to charge this kind of amount
from where i had done the rate was 4k for full ceramic crown. I don't think delhi is so costly compared to mumbai.
You can check the rates in reputed private hospitals. they can lack in latest fancy equipment like showing the patient the cavities in a Lcd Tv, but they have all the requisite tools.
Hospitals are somewhat cheaper but they have a long waiting period. Like i have to wait a week for the RCT appointment & 10 days for the crown.
 
Check the link i posted above with the rates it has 5k for metal - ceramic & 15k for full , its not the clinic i went to , three different clinics almost the same rate
