I want to apologize if my post is wrong in this forum or if I have posted the same topic again.I have a Sony DHC-AZ2D, Samsung 5 series - LA32C530F1R and Tata Sky HD. I want to connect the 3 system together, so that the audio output comes from Sony system while using Tata Sky HD. can anyone help in this regard ?

Does your Sony HiFi system have S/PDIF coaxial input? If yes, then you can connect the RCA connector cable from Orange colour output at back of STB marked as S/PDIF to your Sony system. Select the mode for S/PDIF input on your system. Thats it you should get STB audio from your system.
I am not sure about settings in STB, but there should be setting to select 5.1 surround Audio output, select that setting to get 5.1 audio (if surround audio is broadcasted in any programme).

If your system doesn't have S/PDIF input, then you may have to give Red/White RCA audio as input to your system's input connector. However I doubt if you could get surround sound with Red/White connector as input.

There should be auxilary mode that enables connecting other equipment to the hi-fi system. I have connected my Philips system same way.

To make things easier I will post the pics of the rear view of my TV and Sony system. Will that help ?
