Help using CDMA Workshop for Unlocking BSNL EVDO Card

Hey Guys,I own this EVDO Card provided by BSNL. Now, that the place my father stays in does not have EVDO signals and this device has gone for a toss. I read in one of the forums that we can unlock this device to use with SIM cards and this should suffice my puporse. I am not looking out for super fast speeds. I just wanted to make use of the device that was bought. Has anyone of you used CDMA workshop and made this EVDO card work with its SIM? If so please provide me a link or a step by step process to do the same..Will be every thankful to you guys,Cheers!
