WAN MAC is present in your router, not in a device like G7, which is only responsible for GPON authentication.
And nowadays, most routers have a MAC cloning option.
@tr1k0N4 I know nothing about Networking. Sorry for repeated questions. They said that TEC Certificate is for ONT/ONUs and BSNL will find it and Block the Modem? Was it so?
@Mohan Kumar There is a loop-hole. You can use the current ONT's GPON serial number and clone it in to a TP-Link ONT (Heard some issues with BSNL Landline/Voice) or to a Huawei ONT and configure it in bridge mode.
Then you can simply clone the MAC address in your router and configure the pppoe details in router and it will work without any problem.
If I was in your situation I will use the current ONT and configure it into a bridge connection
Brdr, the best ONU with a wide user base that I'll suggest would be the VSOL V2802RH.
It has a rather wide compatibility, given how customizable is it.
Plus the 2.5G port will also ensure that you are good for the future too!
@tr1k0N4@SayantaN It seems like the Netlink HG323RGW sold by my LCO which I was cursing all this thread is made by this V.SOL Thank you for helping me find the source. So, every Local brand buys from Cheap Chinese Company and rebranding them with their name? So, If I dig deeper, I will be able to find where Digisol, Ubiqcom, Syrotech, etc are buying from. This V.SOL have some made in Metal Case too.
