HITACHI or PANASONIC - Which AC is the best?

Hi,I am planning to buy an AC. I have a good budget and dont want to go with any local brand (LG, Samsung, Videocon, Onida, Voltas etc...) I either want to buy Hitachi or Panasonic. Which is the best in quality? Any experience, any feedbacks?Thanks in advance.

i got Voltas at good discount, as they have discount for tata employees, i have a cousin working in TCS. It works gr8 too

National Panasonic is best for splits whereas Hitachi is good for window AC's

How about going to a bit higher range for:Mitsubishi (there are 2 - Mitsubishi Electric and Mitsubishi Heavy Duty)orO GeneralAny idea on those brands? Thanks in advance.

In between Mitsubishi and O General ... O General will be my preferred choice. I am using O General and Onida air conditioners in my house.
