I am still wondering how this meet Modi Ji's promise of religious tolerance. I mean why is my religious beliefs being enforced upon other religions?

Keep wondering then. It is the natural right of Hindus in India. We can't demand pork in Saudi Arabia, UAE; banning pork is their natural right.

so what happened to the secular status of this country? when did we became a hindu rashtra? is it ok to punish people with lashes because saudi arabia does it too? how do i get to decide what others should or should not eat in this free country? what if tomorrow a new religion emerges and claim that milk is holi and you shall not take cow milk? would you respect that religion as well?

when you need to justify a ban on beef by using UAE and Saudi Arabia as an example... it just goes on to show how wrong this ban is.

Umm. I already said its my personal opinion.

If non-vegetarian think they are right then they can go to court and get it overturned.

The reason I am saying above (which may seem rude which I do not want to be) is because I have seen non-vegetarian people making fun of me repeatedly.

Making faces when they are eating meat infront of me. (because I did not have option to go anywhere)

And putting meat in my food unknown to me.

And what more arguing with me saying - "cows and animals are meant to be eaten"

And its not just one individual. I have seen other people saying they have had similar experiences.
