hi guys i got a vga cable and tried to connect my laptop with my samsung lcd tv and it is just showing black screen . can any body help me how to connect it . do i need any special software or seting. plz help me.
you have to configure the display settings of your graphic cardright click on your desktop,then go to propertiesthen go to settings tabthere tweak the settings,even look in the advanced optionalso your graphic card should support dual displayby default your laptops screen is the main screen,you can change that from the settings
If you have HDMI cable ... check if you have connected both ends of HDMI ports currently,right click on ur desktop main screen, go in settings, last tab of display settings identify your screen and choose ur screen to be displayed.if its laptop after connecting hdmi cables simply press Fn (function) + f4 and keep tapping until u choose the best result i.e. screen on laptop and tv, screen on only tv.
